User has to decide if the anchor bolt needs a sleeve here.
Anchor bolt sleeve is recommended when anchor bolt is subject to
cyclic, dynamic, impact or high tensile load where in these cases
pre-tensioning anchor bolt is a common practice.
The choice of anchor bolt having sleeve Yes/No here will not have
direct impact on anchor bolt capacity calculation, but when sleeve
is chosen it will increase the min required anchor bolt embedment,
edge distance and spacing.
Anchor bolt min required embedment and edge distance are
shown as suggested values below in magenta color text. These
values are proposed based on PIP STE05121 Anchor Bolt Design
Guide Table 1 as shown below.
