There are two input methods for anchor bolt/anchor stud design :
Quick Input and Custom Input.
Quick Input can be used as design input for most of the time.
Custom Input can be used only when the anchor bolt layout or
pattern is not covered by the pre-defined anchor
bolt patterns as shown below.
Quick Input
- Quick Input uses pre-defined anchor bolt patterns as shown below to save user's time on input numerous design parameters.
- Quick Input allows users to switch between different anchor bolt patterns and design options quickly and get the design result immediately in one user interface.
- Quick Input also allows user to design anchor forces in two directions at the same time.
- User has to key in more design parameters as the anchor bolt pattern
is custom and not pre-defined.
- User has to switch to a different spreadsheet when some key design options changed, such as changing from anchor bolt to anchor stud
- User can only design anchor forces in one direction.
